With the RSV we thought suctioning Ashton would be enough, but on Monday Feb 1 we ended up in the outpatient clinic more often than we should and so they admitted my baby to the hospital.
We were there for four days, and it was the hardest four days of my life so far. It was heart breaking to see my baby in a hospital all hooked up to IV's and wires feeling uncomfortable. They came in to suction him every 4 hours so he was constantly upset and scared. I had an emotionally difficult time with it all and lost my cool more times than I could count.

I liked to crawl up into the crib with him so he had some comfort. I hated seeing him all alone in that giant crib!

That is SO sad! My 2nd was hospitalized with RSV when she was 16 months (and my 3rd was only 2 months at the time and she got it as well but didn't need to be hospitalized) and it was so hard. I can't imagine doing it with an 11 week old... SO glad to hear he's doing better!
Poor guy! I am so glad he is feeling better now.
