We were so excited to start swimming this summer. We ended up going to a REC center since it wasn't warm enough outside yet.

In April we had a big slumber party up in Park City for my mom's birthday.

In March Ashton suddenly came on with a fever of 105 degrees

and had Petechiae, which shows that he had some broken capillary's.

We took him into the Dr and they were unable to figure out what was going on

but were concerned about the Petechiae so sent him in for blood work.

The first results came back not good. They gave us an antibiotic for a blood infection to see if that might be it. We would know if it worked when we got another test done and saw what the results were. They came back better the second time but still not great.

We ended up getting his blood drawn about 5 times. Which was traumatizing for both Ashton and myself. Every time we walked into the labs or the dr's office, he would start to panic.

In the end, we have no idea why his temp was so high, or why he had the Petechiae.

AWESOME!

I'm just glad he's ok. If we don't know the answers at least he's not

dealing with the symptoms any longer.

Oh How I love this face!!!

Ashton is now 16 months old and growing so fast.
He's talking and walking like crazy. Jonathan and I are constantly laughing at all his fun new personality traits, which are too many to count. He is so much fun!!

Cousin Harrison

Harrison came to stay with us all the way from Georgia for an evening. His mom Amber came out for a quick trip and we got to watch him for a couple hours. It was so much fun!
Ashton and Harrison are about 6 months apart. Jonathan's only brother Stephen is
Harrison's daddy so it makes it extra fun that A and H are close in age. We just wish they lived close by each other always. The two of them are adorable together.
We went out to eat with Amber and sat the two boys next to each other, they shared toys with each other and held hands while they just giggled.
Then on the drive home I had the two boys in my car, and would hear giggling. I'd look back and they were holding hands again. I really wish I had a camera for that.
Maybe someday they'll go to BYU together and be roommates.
Then, they'll be holding girls hands and giggling about it to each other later.

Yesterday and we had a little party for him with my family.
We missed all our Snow family!!
They live too far away to come, but we got lots of LOVE, calls, presents and cards.
This was quite the day for Ashton. He wasn't feeling too good, didn't get a nap and then hurt himself too many times to count... which is the norm for this guy.
But, by the time everyone showed up he was ready to go and even got into opening presents, he loved everything, but most especially the wrapping paper. Go figure.
Then it was time to blow out the candle and our little guy decided to put it out with his hand.
OUCH!
After we calmed him down a bit we tried it again. I had to get my picture of him blowing it out. He absolutely hated it the second we started singing "Happy Birthday" again.
So, We stopped and let him get to the cake on his own time. When he finally did, He LOVED it!
He even decided to share with Mommy, Daddy AND Uncle Lance.
What a polite boy we have!
We played with all our toys and had a blast. Then off to bed to start his new year.

This year we had our fourth of July celebration over 3 days.

It started bright and early at 5:30 on Saturday morning when we woke up to go see all the hot air balloons fill up and launch. Which ended up not happening due to wind

Ashton was definitely wondering why on earth we got him up so early to freeze

We ended up at my mom's house for the day and had a blast playing with sparklers and pops.

Our first experience with big fireworks and he loved them.

Sunday was a nice break, even though it was the actual holiday but Monday morning we walked down to the parade with the Lamb's and really enjoyed it all.

This week was Spring Break for my nieces and nephews so they invited us to go swimming with them at a fun indoor pool. Ashton loved it! He had to get used to it for a few minutes, but was soon splashing and kicking. Luckily Jonathan had the day off. It was lots of fun.

Our Ashton boy is 4 months old and as fun as ever! He's always smiling and talking to us, he has some very good stories to tell. He likes to sit up or stand at all times. If he's laying down, he attempts to sit up. He's very strong. He's also very heavy. My back went out this last week from always holding this thick boy. I love him!

I love being his mom!! I sit and play with him all day long and although it does get tiring, I wouldn't trade it for anything. There are little faces and noises he makes that melt my heart. I already get so sad thinking about him growing up and being done with this phase in our lives.

This tank finally likes the swing! He loves to sit and help me make dinner.

Can you believe he's 3 months old?! I can't. It makes me kinda sad to think he is growing so quickly but excited at how much fun he's becoming.

This is Ashton's blessing outfit. I made him model it and I'm thinking he was wishing he was somewhere else.

On his 3 month birthday exactly he decided to get all big boy on us and suddenly push himself up onto his arms and look around. He was very proud of himself! I love his smile!

11 weeks

Feeling much better!! We still have to keep him in and away from people for awhile but at least he's not in the hospital and he can breathe!!

Horrible week 11!!

With the RSV we thought suctioning Ashton would be enough, but on Monday Feb 1 we ended up in the outpatient clinic more often than we should and so they admitted my baby to the hospital.

We were there for four days, and it was the hardest four days of my life so far. It was heart breaking to see my baby in a hospital all hooked up to IV's and wires feeling uncomfortable. They came in to suction him every 4 hours so he was constantly upset and scared. I had an emotionally difficult time with it all and lost my cool more times than I could count.

Even through it all Ashton was able to smile to reassure his parents he was ok.

I liked to crawl up into the crib with him so he had some comfort. I hated seeing him all alone in that giant crib!

9 weeks continued

This was one rough week. We found out that Ashton has RSV. RSV is a lower respiratory virus that creates mucus in your lungs. It's a common cold to most of us but dangerous for such a little guy. He could suffocate from all the mucus he can't blow out. So we were in and out of the hospitals outpatient clinic 2 times a day to get his nose and throat suctioned out. It was really hard to watch. Jonathan had to hold him down while the therapist stuck a tube down his nose to get all the mucus out. All the while Ashton is screaming at the top of his lungs and there was nothing I could do to help him. He had to have it done or he couldn't breathe.

Before they start to do anything to him he's really friendly and cute with the therapists.

9 Weeks

Ashton is now 9 weeks old and very grown up. He likes to talk to his friends whenever he gets the chance, and he loves watching sports with his dad.

Also he loves to stand up on his own. Jonathan just holds him up so he wont fall over but Ashton stands all by himself.
He's very strong!!

We went to his 2 month apt yesterday and Ashton is now in the 76 % for length, 78 % for head circumference, and 44 % for weight. The Dr. says he is looking great. We already knew that!

I can't believe he's 8 weeks old. It makes me sad to think he's already this big.

Ashton is such a happy baby! We can't get enough of his smiles and he's more than willing to give them. He especially loves his mommy! :)

Broken Heater

I woke up on thursday night, technically friday morning, at about 2 to feed the little man.

I noticed it was a little cold but didn't think too much of it until an hour later I realized I hadn't heard the heater kick on the entire time I was feeding him. I woke Jonathan up and he confirmed it was broken and got back in bed. :) I was a bit more concerned for our little babe and dressed him in a couple of outfits and a really warm sleeper. Plus a hat. He wouldn't keep the hat on so I wrapped him in a blanket and layed him with me in bed. I was awake the rest of the night making sure he was warm and Jonathan didn't roll over on top of him. It was a long night of cold but we got through it and the heater was fixed that day. I also went out and bought a space heater, just in case.

He's Here!!

Ashton came on Sunday November 22 at 4:11 AM after a long night of Labor, which ended in an emergency C-Section. He was a SURPRISE, breech. We're grateful he got here safely.

36 weeks!!

Well folks, I am about ready to pop! I am feeling tired, sore, ornery and lot's and lot's of other emotions. I'm sure Jonathan could tell you all about it! :) He's a good husband and is very patient with me and my many personalities. Overall I feel GREAT but still can't wait to give birth and meet the little man. A little less pressure and discomfort would be much appreciated.

I'm now technically 37 weeks and have 3, let me say that again, 3 WEEKS left!!!
Wahoo!! I never thought I would be so excited to go through labor and give birth.

Fun Weekend

We Just spent the weekend with some great friends of Jonathan's from Chiropractic School.
Nic and Ellie Giebler came out to visit us for a few days from Wisconsin and we had a BLAST!
It was my first time meeting them and I'm pretty sure we're life long friends now. It's amazing to me how quickly you can form a great friendship with someone.
We spent the days site seeing, and of course shopping, in Park City and Salt Lake.

One of the Highlights for me was temple square.
I was very proud of and impressed with Jonathan. He has a great knowledge of the gospel and spent lots of time explaining things to us that I had always known but forgotten or had been tucked away in my memory. I love my man!

Wisconsin here we come... someday after the baby is born.

25 Weeks!

We are having a BOY! Wahoo. I can't wait to see the little tike. He's growing just as he should be and the ultrasound tech said everything looks normal except his head is a little bit bigger than normal... Not surprising, he has Nuttall blood running through him after all. We couldn't be happier. Dec 9th is still the due, Half way there.

Here's the mommy looking larger than she's ever looked in her life at 20 weeks. I hear it will only get bigger and better. Can't wait!

Projects

The moment I found out we were having a BOY, I got myself over to the fabric store to get started on my "I'm out of work and bored" projects. I made a crib sized quilt and a receiving blanket with 3 more in the works. I am very proud of my work and can't wait to finish more.

This fourth was very chill. Not much happened until about 10 pm

We went and watched the BIG Stadium of Fire, Fireworks from the Hinkley building with family and had a great time. It's always a good time being outside. I could sit outside forever.

Without fail every year there is a baby or two who are a bit startled by the loud boom of the fireworks. Lance and Kristi had two this year.

Taylei was all about he fireworks. She is also ALL about the camera. If anyone points a camera in her direction you get a big cheese from this one.

Jonathan was such a good sport. I bought these shirts and he was more than willing to wear it with me.

I don't know what it is about all my Brother's in-law but they all have such a hard time with being "close". John was a little creeped out by Lance... just a little. :)

Kenzie had a great time. She's always such a fun little baby to play with.

We are due December 9th and can't wait to see our little babe.
It's been hard keeping it all a secret, but now that I'm able to spill the beans, I am.

It's been a rough 12 weeks but I'm dealing and gradually getting better.
I keep telling my mom I never thought it would be this hard. (sMiLe)
It's a wonderful feeling.
Jonathan is so extremely excited to be a dad and of course when I'm not feeling sick I couldn't be more ecstatic!

I've always been told NOT to put potato peels down the disposal and i've always listened...

Until Now!

I wasn't thinking and I put them right down, then all of a sudden both sides of my sink were backed up with dirty water and I was saying "uh-oh" outloud. Jonathan's ears perked up

and the journey began...

Jonathan came in and started grumbling to me about peels down the disposal and stuff that i'd heard thousands of times so I just nodded, feeling like a scolded school girl.

He grabbed the plunger (yuck) and started doing what plunger's do, but it wasn't working.

I had the brilliant thought that maybe the clog was in the twisty part of the pipes and we started to prepare all that we needed to do the job.

I was ready and my head was where it should've been, in another room, but Jonathan must not have been paying attention. (tisk, tisk) We can't always be perfect.

Suddenly I hear screaming, yes, screaming and I run in the kitchen to see my darling husband being blasted by a gush of dirty, potato peel, plunger water.

He had forgotten the bucket I prepared for him.

In all honesty, so he doesn't look like a goober, he accidentally knocked into the pipe after unscrewing it a tiny bit and PoOf!

FLOOD

We grabbed all the towels we could, that aren't our nice ones of course, and started sopping up all the H2O.

Here he is just after the gush of water. I made him stay 'til I got the camera.

What else would I do?

These are the memories I live for. We laughed about it, thank goodness, and now our floor has been sanitized a few dozen times. (Just in case)

Our little Kenzie-Roos. Her birthday was on March 20 and we weren't able to celebrate her birthday with her, so my mom, sister and I decided to throw her a "surprise" party. :)

It was a fun little surprise for her Mom really... but she enjoyed eating all the cake she wanted.

March 10th is a day that I will forever be grateful for. That day brought my wonderful husband into this world... Cheesy I know, but that's truly how I feel.
I am so blessed to have him in my life and I couldn't ask for a more perfect partner.
Jonathan has so many qualities that have attracted me to him and since he's 30... WOW,

Mexican Riviera

We just got back from a cruise with my family and had a total blast! I would love to show you all the pictures but I took at least 900 so i'm assuming nobody has the time or desire to sit in front of a computer and look at all of my pictures. Here are a few, and when I say a few i mean like 15-20 pics of us and my family in Mexico. Keep in mind they are all skeewhompus so i'll try to narrate what's happening in each, when and where all the events took place. I can say as fun as a trip is, it's always good to be home in your own bed.

This was a shot in Puerto Vallarta. A man selling cotton candy. He obviously didn't sell that much considering the amount of candy still on his pole. Jonathan and I have decided we would love to move down there. It was a gorgeous and classy town.

This was On Wednesday in Puerto Vallarta after Jonathan's accident. The doctor thought it was hilarious how many people were there to "support" us and had to take a picture.
Story:
Jonathan had just dislocated and fractured his finger on the beach. He was playing in the waves and came down on his hand to catch himself, the waves were so strong his finger just popped out. It was a very traumatizing experience as every male member of my family attempted to "put it" back into place. I was crying, Jonathan was in agony and a lot of bystanders were very curious. Jonathan eventually ran up to a nearby resort and they called a local doctor who after MANY attempts finally got his finger back in place. THANK GOODNESS! We decided to go to the doctor's office for X-Rays and discovered it was also fractured right in the spot every one was squeezing to get the finger back. OUCH! The doctor was a great guy and drove us to and from his office with the offer of taking us on a tour of the city free of charge. Thankfully we found a great doctor. Jonathan now has a brace and is doing just fine. He was a brave little patient.

She was such a cutie! Both Taylei and Kenzie were stopped by people on the boat at least 5 times a day with compliments of how Adorable they were.

The Caca Rocks. They are white because birds sit on them all day and well.... they poop. This was in Mazatlan as well. We had a van tour and visited this cute little shop on a hill with a view.

CABO! PARA SAILING! Need I say more? Well i will say that this was so much fun and scary all at the same time. I'm glad Jonathan talked me into it.

Being up this high in the air was so peaceful but I couldn't help searching the water for dark shadows...

We are leaving for Mexico in 2 DAYS!

My family decided to put all our Christmas and Birthday money into going on a family cruise this year. We are going this Saturday and will be stopping in Cabo, Mezetlan, and Puerto Vallarto ( I don't know how to spell those) It's a much needed break for my family and I couldn't be happier.
The fun thing is we are all going together. Parents, all my sibs, Step sister included and my neices and nephews. It's going to be a blast and we are ready for a real tan.
I'll be sure to post all the fun pics when we get back in a week.... Wahoo!

Jonathan got home the other night after a long day (that was cold and blizzardy) and got into his pajamas excited to relax and not have to do anything else; until I asked my dad over for dinner and decided the sidewalks were too slick and piled with snow for him to walk in. I've got a great husband cuz he went out into the cold night and I got a new post out of it. :)

Our kids are bound to have good looking legs with a father that has them...

This year we spent New Years Eve in Salt lake with Jonathan's friend Mike and his girlfriend Maggie. We walked around Downtown and ended up at the Joseph Smith Memorial on Temple Square, where there was a big band playing and dancing going on. It was so much fun.

Before midnight we walked down toward "First Night", a party, and waited for the Fireworks. We didn't realize how close we were until they started going off right over our heads.

Happy New Year everyone! Hope 2009 brings you many happy times and lots of money.

I Am Thankful....

Thanksgiving is past but I feel the need to express the things that I am thankful for this year.

I am Thankful for:
My Husband. He is VERY patient with me and loves me no matter what mood I'm in. He is always working hard to make my life better and doing his best as a provider to give me security in life.
My Family. I have an amazing family on both sides. I don't know how anyone can get so lucky, but I did.
My Savior. I can't express the LOVE I feel from my Savior. I never feel alone and know that I will always have someone on my side.
The Gospel. I know without a doubt who I am and where I came from.
My Job. I feel blessed in times like now to have a job that I love.
A Free Country. I am so grateful for men and women who risk their lives everyday to serve our country and keep us free from harm.
A warm Bed. 'nough said :)
Good food to eat. I LoVe good food!
Laughter. If I wasn't able to laugh everyday it would truly be a tragedy.
Good Health. I have no health complaints... That's a great feeling.

I know I could keep going, but I just want you to get an idea of how truly blessed I am!

Thanksgiving in Michigan

This year we decided last minute to travel to Michigan for Thanksgiving. Jonathan's parents had no idea we were coming and were totally surprised when we walked in the door. The looks on both of their faces were priceless. It was a wonderful weekend and we are both very happy we went. It's always good to see family!

Road Trip!

Friday night and nothing to do... Let's Drive to Wendover! Jonathan came up with a brilliant Friday night date and it was much needed. This is us driving 80 MPH in the middle of nowhere at about 8:00 P.M. I love being married.

For such a nasty place, Wendover has some great rooms at a very decent price. We were excited to open our door and not find a "hair" in the sheets or dead bugs all over. (Long Story)

I love my husband and his spontaneous nature. It keeps my life fun.

Metallica Concert

How appropriate that my first post on this blog would be about something like this. Enough of the gooshy stuff (I love you dear!). A few pictures of the Metallica concert I attended last night. My friend Mike New had an extra ticket, so he invited me along. My second Metallica concert, and I hope not the last!

Happy Halloween

My family loves Halloween! We had our annual Halloween party and had a great turnout. Jonathan loves to come up with creative ideas for costumes and this year I think he out did himself.

We dressed up as my younger brother Ross and his girlfriend Mayra. If you knew them you would see how close to the real deal we got. I will have to post a picture of the TRUE Ross and Mayra, they're much better looking than our portrayal of them. They were good sports, so a big thanks goes to them.

We had some of our good friends come and they showed up ready to party. This is Dustin, Jonathan's roommate and good friend from Chiropractic school. He's Chris Crocker from the famous "Leave Britney Alone!" youtube clip, very funny! He's always a good laugh... if there are any single girls reading this, i'll be happy to set you up, he comes highly recommended!

These are our good friends Mike and Estee. We had a blast with them, they beat us out for the most creative costume, but we tied with my 6 year nephew (a gumball machine) for the funniest.

New Furniture... Kinda

Jonathan has been working on a couple new projects. We've been trying to get our furniture to match and so decided to take it into our own hands. Jonathan spent about 3 days stripping, sanding and staining our dresser. He also refinished an old Hope Chest I had. They are now a beautiful black. I'm very proud of my tool man!

Scary Times in the Snow Family

We went to a Haunted House with my brother Ross and his girlfriend Mayra. It was fun, although I can't really remember what anything looked like since I had my head in Jonathan's back the entire time. I can definitely tell you about the creepy voices by my head. (not in it)

Look how thin he's become. I'm trying to feed him, he just likes his mom's cooking better.

Jonathan has spent the last three months growing his hair out and finally got tired of it all. He spent about an hour in the bathroom trimming and having his fun. Oh and yes he got a hold of the camera. The following pictures are his own doing, I was in bed.

This one is especially scary to me! I think he looks like some psychotic man in my bathroom, it gives me the chills... :)

I love the spikes! I double dog dared him to go into work like this but I guess someone's lost his ability to do whatever and get away with it. He was really tempted though. It was a DOUBLE DOG DARE!

Jonathan says this one reminds him of the Walton football players as a kid. I guess they all looked cool to an 8-year old.

Yesterday was my 24th birthday and it was the most wonderful one yet. I must say that being married to the most wonderful man makes everything a thousand times better! Jonathan is truly the best person in the world to make a special holiday feel that much more special. I can't thank him enough for making me feel like a queen. I just feel bad for him because I am so not creative like he is... He'll just have to settle for my pathetic attempts at awesomeness.

I woke up at 7:00 in the morning and looked over to where my husband should've been sleeping next to me and he was MIA. I thought maybe he's in making me breakfast, since he does that all the time anyway. I was wrong! I went out to the living room and it was dark, no Husband. I decided to go back to sleep since he likes to surprise me and I didn't want to ruin whatever it was he was up to. About 5 minutes later, I heard the kitchen door open and in walked my adorable husband to our bedroom and he climbed right into bed. Let me tell you what he did... He woke up at 6 in the morning to go and find me some flowers and brought me my favorite fresh baked bagels, Asiago Cheese. Mmmmmm Isn't he the best?!

You may think the morning outing is enough, but not for my Husband. He came to my work and decorated my car with balloons and lovely sayings. It must have taken him all day because there was no possible way to get into my car.

Luckily I work at an Elementary school and it just so happens that children LOVE balloons, so I went and grabbed a class that was outside and offered them all a free balloon. There were enough balloons for each child to take 3. They had a blast and I didn't have to clean up as many balloons as I would have.

There were many things written on my car, but my favorite had to be the "I look 18 but i'm really 24." Definitely an attention grabber.

Still you may think that surely there could be nothing else, but I tell you there was. Jonathan along with decorating my moms house for a family dinner, cleaning our own gorgeous apartment, and showering me with gifts, also had time to make me a beautiful cake, (from scratch) with strawberry and raspberry filling.

Aren't we an adorable couple? I look older don't I?

Don't worry I made a wish and I'm pretty sure it will come true in 8 1/2 months and counting.... I'm kidding, I'm not pregnant!

Yummy Treats

Jonathan and I have been having this big debate about making treats. I'm all for getting a box and making it easy, Jonathan HAS to make it all from scratch! Which is totally fine except we decided to make the cake, FROM SCRATCH, on a weeknight at about 10:00 P.M. We also had homemade Cream Cheese frosting, that we put in the middle, and Whipped Cream, The real stuff, to cover it with... I know how awesome are we?! We ate so much of the frosting before the cake was even done that we were sick going to bed!

As you can see we both loved making this delicious treat! Jonathan is the real Chef here, I'm just the Sous Chef.

Jonathan worked really hard on this cake and I really just made it look PRETTY and ate a couple bites.
There was one thing I could do better than Jonathan, Frosting. Please note in the background Jonathan's new vase he painted. Isn't he a talented little thing?!

All done and ready to go into the fridge for a month before we throw it out! :)

Nuttall Family Kiddies

This is Tairen (Ty-Ren) Almost 6 years old! He is in Kindergarten.
He went swimming at grandpas with goggles on, put them on his head to eat, and didn't realize how tight they were. He thought this picture was hilarious!
Parker Jay is 2 years old and quite the character. This was Labor Day when we all went bowling. Parks had a great time!
Makenzie Mei is almost 5 1/2 months old. She is such a happy baby with lots to say. She is our little Chubba! If only you could see the thighs
Taylei Neveah is the newest edition to our family. She's only 2 months old and I already can't imagine our family without this little angel. This is her first bowling experience. I think she really enjoyed it

Summer Nights

For weeks I've been telling Jonathan that I wanted to go on the Sundance lift at night when the moon is full, and he surprised me a couple weekends ago! It was so much fun. A little bit Chilly but we had our handy dandy blanket that has been everywhere with us. I would recommend this to anyone. So Much Fun!

At 8:00 in the morning on Thursday August 28, 2008 Jonathan and I were startled to hear our phones buzz indicating a text. Who do you think it could be from? It was my dad and he had a very serious question to ask us... "would you guys like to go to a Boys II Men concert tonight?"
We went to the Scera Shell in Orem, at approximately 6:45 P.M., sat in our seats and our lives have been changed since.

I danced until I started to cramp. (seriously) Jonathan thinks at least 50 women became pregnant just from hearing their voices. It was fun to hear them live and get to sing along to songs I haven't heard or thought of in years. Thanks DAD!

Nuttall Invitational 2008

August 16, 2008 Can you guess what time it is? 7:00 in the morning! No one should be at a golf course that early, but we were. Why you ask? The Nuttall Invitational My dad loves to get out and golf any chance he can and this time it was a work golf tournament. A lot of fun, that is until I got attacked by thousands, yes thousands, of tiny bugs! After that I decided to stay in the cart and avoid the misery.

Nauvoo Trip - June 30, 2008

On our way out to Michigan for a second Reception, we decided to stop in Nauvoo and Carthage. My mom came with us, (she drove the entire way with us, but bailed out on the way home) She and I had never been before. It was a fun experience to share.

As you can see the Chocolate fountain didn't work and the same good friends saved the day by standing in front of it so our guests wouldn't get attacked. (If something had to go wrong...
